Today Law Firm billers need significant experience, skills and tools to ebill successfully. Tools like GLEbill once existed in the marketplace, but all have either been withdrawn or evolved into more fulsome and expensive back-office systems.
GLEbill is a standalone, SaaS-based system hosted in Azure with Microsoft reliability behind it. No setup is required; users only need to subscribe and then log in to GLEbill to begin working.
With its efficient, intuitive interface, GLEbill helps users to easily and logically create legal ebills in any LEDES® format. Users can also import LEDES invoices and, if necessary, migrate to any other LOC-endorsed format/version. Not only that, users also can import only header information from another LEDES invoice on the same matter or for the same client to short-cut invoice creation. GLEbill, via the proprietary GLEbill Template™, can also be a solution for firms without the ability to record time or create LEDES ebills.
GLEbill normalizes the layout of all LEDES formats into a single template, validates invoice data on import and export, accommodates custom values and hi-jacked fields, logically groups invoice data into tabs and sections, identifies required fields, provides field help, auto-calculates invoice math, auto-numbers invoice line items and offers a proprietary template to facilitate off-line invoice creation.
Importantly, when a user exports an invoice or returns to the GLEbill home screen, all traces of their invoice are removed. Nothing remains in the cloud, which means GLEbill complies with global privacy rules.
For legal clients mandating ebilling, the information-rich XML ebilling formats are now in reach: anyone can easily create and edit these invoice file types. This is one of the reasons we developed GLEbill.
