eBilling Hub just released a report on the impact of AI on legal ebilling. The analysis is excellent and a must-read for all involved in the legal ebilling industry. The report shows that, as the result of application of AI to the legal ebilling validation process, there has been a 70% increase in rejections experienced by its 400 law firm study group in the last year. Many errors that were once subjective are now uniformly decided via AI, which means that things that once might have been discretionarily approved are now hard rejections.
